I had forehead reduction surgery over a year ago and have had nothing but issues. The scar isn’t flat, making it very obvious. I have a few bald spots that haven’t responded to minoxidil (which I had to start a few months after surgery due to extreme shock loss), and I keep getting really painful spots that come back whether they’re left alone or extracted. I had spitting sutures last year (and a few ingrown hairs) that caused painful red bumps, so worried about what’s under the skin.

Thank you for your query. A forehead reduction with some FUE hair grafts should give you excellent results. Please find an experienced board certified Plastic surgeon who can examine you and help you with all your concerns. All the best!

You do have prominent forehead but it does not look like a craniostenosis. Contouring of bony prominences and lowering of hairline would improve current appearance. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with background in craniofacial surgery is recommended. Good luck.
