Would having Juvelook volume injected ruin a potential facelift or make it harder to get good results? I have heard this about Sculptra and other collagen stimulators, for example surgeons saying it makes it more difficult and that they can see the effects years after the injections when performing a facelift, so I was curious if anyone had the same experience with Juvelook. I do not think I am the level of a facelift or even a mini facelift yet, but I am 30 and have noticed my nasolabial folds are getting deeper. I would like to do something that adds a bit of volume either there or to the cheeks in the short term, but not if it will impact getting a facelift in a few years' time.

Juvelook Volume is a biostimulatory injectable containing PDLLA and hyaluronic acid, so it behaves differently from a purely hyaluronic-acid filler. It stimulates collagen and the PDLLA component cannot simply be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Prior treatment would not usually rule out a facelift years later, but there is limited long-term evidence specifically examining Juvelook Volume before facelift surgery. Any collagen stimulator can occasionally cause nodules, inflammation, or tissue firmness, and extensive or poorly placed injections may make surgical tissue planes less predictable. If you are considering treatment, use an experienced licensed injector, remain conservative, and keep a record of the product, dilution, amount, injection depth, sites, and dates. Share that information with any future facelift surgeon and allow active swelling, inflammation, or nodules to resolve before surgery. At age 30, nasolabial folds may reflect normal anatomy or volume distribution rather than a need for lifting. An in-person facial assessment can determine whether small-volume treatment, skin care, or no procedure is the best choice. Avoid trying to erase the folds completely, as overfilling can create an unnatural result and complicate later planning.
