Face Shape - large width and asymmetry (Photo)

Question

I feel my face is very wide. It's getting wider as I get older. I'm 31 and a 28" waist - I'm not convinced much of it is down to weight. There also is a level of asymmetry where one side is quite bigger than the other. I've tried Botox in the masseters consistently every three months for two years and also Morpheus 8 and PDO Threads. The first photo is my real face. The other has been edited to show desired results. Face shape is the only element edited on the other photo.

Thank you for your question and photos. You may benefit from a buccal lipectomy to improve cheek and jawline definition while slimming the lower part of the face. This procedure reduces fullness by removing the buccal fat pad to provide a defined contour in the cheekbones and along the jawline. Since buccal fat tissue is not regrown, the results of this fat pad removal are permanent. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. They will be able to discuss your aesthetic goals with you and suggest the best procedure to help you achieve them.

The pictures you have sent, show that you have narrowed the jaw, and to a lesser degree, the areas of the cheeks. You've already had Botox to the Massester, so you've had the benefit of reducing the muscle in that area... Other options you could have would be to consider having Jaw Reduction surgery where the angle of the jaw can be reshaped. This can be also be done across the bridge of the jaw all the way to the cheekbone.

Another option Buccal Fat Removal which can reduce volume in the cheeks. For the best results, a combination of both would be advised.

You don't need to add fat, you need a generalized deletion of fat. A 20 lbs weight loss may help, after you do this (after and not before), a buccal fat removal may also help

Thankyou for providing your pictures for reference. As per your pictures it seems you would benefit from fat injections into nasolabial folds which are permanent and fill the lack of volume in those areas. Since you are young a surgical procedure is not the most recommended but even after fat injections you are not happy with the results you can look into midface lift targeting your mid section. Furthermore, I would advise you to carefully research for an expert surgeon who uses endoscopy scarless facelift which is will ensure no long-term scarring and a natural look.
