I would like to only improve my droopy nose tip. Can closed surgery give me good results or will it have to be open?

The tip can be lifted easily with a closed approach. Open approach is more useful in complex revision surgery.
In closed approach the skin is elevated off the nose from the inside and there are no external scars.
The hump is reduced and some grafts are used to lift the tip.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from rhinoplasty. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Your drooping nasal drip isn’t that bad. It can be shortened with either open or closed rhinoplasty. It usually depends on the surgeons preference.

I was trained in only closed Rhinoplasties, but through conferences, courses, journals and watching Videos trained myself in Open Rhinoplasties as well.Your nose could be improved with a Closed (endo-nasal) Rhinoplasty, but I have more predictability of control with tip surgery using an Open rhinoplasty.
- And there's no down-side to Open Rhinoplasty - the scar is almost never a problem.There is no more swelling with it, and the slight tip numbness that occasionally occurs will settle, and doesn't bother patients.

The approach used by the surgeon is a function of what he is most comfortable using and not the specific problem encountered. So go on some complimentary consultations with experts and compare recommendations after a full examination and discussion of desired results and look at photos of similar patients and become fully informed about the desired procedure
