Hey, i hope someone will answer me this time. when I was younger my nose was upturned and when I smiled the tip didn't drop. till 15 years my smile was fine. now I am 20 years and the tip of my nose goes like crazy down when I smile! is cutting ONLY the depressor septi muscle fix this problem? I will not go into a surgery to risk the appearance of my nose. I am very satified when my face is at rest. (please no botox suggetions)

Based on the provided pictures your goals can be achieved only by a surgery. There are two reasons of a droopy tip when smiling which are weak cartilages and lack of tip support, or strong depressor septi nasi muscles. The reason should be identified during the surgery. If the cartilages are weak it should be strengthened, or if the muscle is too strong it should be weakened. It is not very likely that severance of muscle would preclude tip drop entirely. Very frequently additional support by means of columella strut graft (taken from patients septum) may be needed to stabilize tip. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with known expertise in rhinoplasty is recommended. Good luck.
