34yrs old, circumcised. I have seen lots of info online about micropenis..but can’t find anything about an inverted penis. Is that coz it’s so rare that there is no info on it? Is my penis a micropenis? Or does it have another term?
Answer: inverted penis You have a micropenis that is retracted. Possibly helpful to do the following: 1. Remove the fat and skin in the pubic area which are covering your penis, 2. Detach the suspensory ligaments which may be holding back the penis, 3.Put a sleeve to wrap around the penis shaft which may/may not lessen the retraction, 4. treat post-operatively with some sort of extension device. Please see a qualified urologist or plastic surgeon. Best wishes

Answer: Micropenis vs. inverted First off, inverted penis is not rare. It is seen mostly in overweight men. Regarding micropenis, this refers to men with size significantly below average (3 inches or less). The Prometheus procedure helps with both of these issues. The newly formed collagen helps to keep the penis from retracting so much, in addition to developing increased size, mainly girth.

Answer: Inverted or buried and hidden penis. Hello. You have a hidden or buried penis, which is very common. You do not need a penis enlargement. I have published extensively on the surgery to correct the buried penis in the plastic surgery literature. The idea of the surgery is to stabilize the penile skin to the penis, so that it cannot bury. It usually involves removing the pubic fat, excising some pubic skin if it is drooping, and suturing the pubic skin to the underlying muscles. You will also need tacking of the skin on the underside of the penis to the penis at the junction of the penis and scrotum. You are getting chronic inflammation of the penis head and skin due to the dampness of being chronically buried. The surgery is relatively non-invasive, but very few physicians know how to correctly do the surgery. It is highly successful. Gary J. Alter, M.D. Beverly Hills, CA

Answer: you may have a **buried penis**, It sounds like you may have a **buried penis**, a condition where the penis is partially or fully hidden beneath the surrounding skin or tissue. This is not uncommon, especially in individuals who are overweight, as excess pubic fat and skin can obscure the penis, making it appear smaller or "inverted." The good news is that this is often correctable. For many, **weight loss and improved fitness** can significantly reduce the amount of pubic fat and improve the appearance and functionality of the penis. Losing weight can also boost self-esteem and improve overall health, which often positively affects confidence in this area. If weight loss alone does not address the issue, there are surgical options available. Procedures focus on stabilizing the skin around the penis, removing excess pubic fat, and, if necessary, tacking the skin to ensure the penis remains properly positioned. These surgeries are effective but require a skilled and experienced physician. It's important to clarify that having a buried penis does not necessarily mean you have a micropenis. Micropenis is a specific medical condition defined by a stretched penile length below a certain threshold, typically less than 2.5 inches when stretched in adulthood. For a full understanding of your condition, it’s essential to consult a qualified urologist or surgeon who can evaluate your anatomy, particularly during an erection, to determine the best course of action. You're not alone, and there are solutions that can help improve both function and confidence.
