Had reduction to fix asymmetry, but still a big difference in size and shape. I also seem to have a lot of side boob. Will a revision easily fix this? Any advice and honest opinions really appreciated. I will attach my before and after photos. Clearly big improvement but still very unhappy. Unfortunately I can’t afford implants as an option.
Answer: Revision Thanks for your question! I suppose more tissue could be removed from the larger breast. That being said, remember that breasts are sisters and not twins. I understand why the difference in size is frustrating, but you should also be enjoying your new, perky breasts. Good luck!

Answer: Revision The larger breast can still be revised to be closer to the other's size. Your surgeon was trying to make sure enough tissue was kept to keep your nipples alive. Please discuss your concerns with your surgeon. Liposuction might be helpful to remove excess lateral fullness as well. It is doubtful that insurance will cover this revision, because the revision would be cosmetic.

Answer: Asymmetry As you mentioned there is a significant improvement with asymmetry, but some does remain. For improvement you will need to consider further surgery to reduce the larger breast to better match the smaller one. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon.

Answer: Big difference in size and shape after revision for asymmetry Hello @Brave249959, thank you for your question. These issues can often be addressed with a revision surgery, but the specifics will depend on a thorough evaluation by your plastic surgeon. A consultation is vital to establishing a surgical plan that meets your needs, meets your expectations, and takes into account what is possible. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS. Answer: Difference in size and shape Dear Brave249959, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
