Still big difference in size and shape after revision for asymmetry, will a revision fix this & likely be approved? (Photos)

Thanks for your question! I suppose more tissue could be removed from the larger breast. That being said, remember that breasts are sisters and not twins. I understand why the difference in size is frustrating, but you should also be enjoying your new, perky breasts. Good luck!

Thank you for your query. There is some residual asymmetry and a little fat on the side, both of which can be improved with a minor revision/liposuction/ fat injections. You can discuss the insurance approval with your insurance, but your surgeon can certainly help you achieve better symmetry. All the best!

Hi, thanks for your question and photos. Considering your before and after pics, there's a great change. You forgot to say how much time has passed since the procedure. Remember that the human body (including breasts) is not symmetrical at all. If you have completed your healing time, and you still are uncomfortable, you can have a second revision for complete success. Any secondary procedure has more risks and associated complications than doing a primary procedure. By looking at your photos and in my experience yes there’s still options for achieving a more symmetrical result. But yes you would require a secondary breast reduction and lift, you could go either with or without implants. Schedule your free virtual consultation and have your case assessed.

The larger breast can still be revised to be closer to the other's size. Your surgeon was trying to make sure enough tissue was kept to keep your nipples alive. Please discuss your concerns with your surgeon. Liposuction might be helpful to remove excess lateral fullness as well. It is doubtful that insurance will cover this revision, because the revision would be cosmetic.

As you mentioned there is a significant improvement with asymmetry, but some does remain. For improvement you will need to consider further surgery to reduce the larger breast to better match the smaller one. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon.
