I’ve been advised to have a breast lift, but I don’t want one. If I don't get a lift what will my results be like?

You definitely need a lift. If you don’t get a lift then you’re better off with no implants at all. You’re not even a borderline case

Your breasts are too low on the chest wall and the nipple are pointing downward. If you do not get a breast lift then the implants have to be centered underneath the nipple-areola complex which requires release of the inframammary fold and results in double bubble or bottoming out. Many women do not like lifts because of the vertical scars associated with the traditional techniques. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  Based on the views supplied it appears that you would most benefit from implant placement and a lift.  The implant will help restore lost breast tissue after pregnancy and weight loss, while the lift will remove excess skin and allow for resizing and repositioning of your nipple into a higher, more youthful, position.  Hope this helps

determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.

I would definitely recommend a lift- otherwise your nipples are going to point straight down after your augmentation- I think a donut mastopexy will look awesome!

From your photos a lift is recommended. This will raise the position of the nipples and remove excess skin. The augmentation will add volume and upper pole fullness. Concerns about scars from the lift are common. Most patients have very favorable scars once healed and the beautiful shape is what you'll notice. If you choose not to have the lift the skin and nipples could sag below the implant and look odd.

Hi,sorry to tell you but the colleagues were right. Without a lift the nipples will hang under the breast resulting in an awful result when augmentation is performed.You have to decide between some scars or the form of your breasts now. In good techniques the nipple will not be stretched and scars will be difficult to find and not visible around the nipple, but maybe from the nipple to the inframammary fold. It‘s according to your preference but there is no alternative for a really good result.

Unfortunately, the amount of droop that you have requires an uplifting procedure, in order to carry out a breast augmentation.
Both procedures can be done at the same time.

You do need a lift for certain based on the photos. Without one, implants alone will lead to a Snoopy nose deformity. If you won't do the lift, I would consider doing nothing.
