I am considering a breast, back and arm lift after weight loss, In which order should I. have these procedures done? (photos)

Extending your arm lift incision down the side of your chest, just below your axilla, and blending this in with a breast lift pattern will allow you to correct your arms, your upper back as well as lift your breast in a single procedure. This decreases your cost of surgery as well as gives you a single recovery. Check with your surgeon if they perform extended brachioplasties, lateral thoracoplasties and mastopexies at a single operation. I would begin with your breasts using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. At the same time, you could do your arms using a brachioplasty. I would not recommend doing the back lift at the same time because you have to change positions after surgery and laying on your back would put pressure on the closer on the back. After you have healed from the breast lift and arm lift, you can consider the back lift.

In my experience, after massive weight loss, breasts and arms are commonly combined. This limits recovery to the upper body as a unit. Some of the axilla can be included with breast and arm lift, and may reduce the back area somewhat.

In my cases, the arm lift scar continues through the axilla and around the S curve into the breast lift.

If further back lift desired after healing, back lift can be performed at a later time.

An exam and consultation with your/a plastic surgeon is recommended to discuss your options and expectations.

Do the lift that you want to first. Most ladies chose the arm or breast lift first because that is what they see the most and it bothers them. Congratulations on your weight loss!
