I had a LP & had the labia minora, majora and clitoral hood done under local. My labia minora were amputated and there’s fusion of the minora to the majora. Can they be seperated again? I don’t know why they’re fused, I think the surgeon removed too much tissue from the majora and then stitched my minora inwards. My anatomy looks really weird and doesn’t have the normal ‘crease’ between minora and majora. Can this be revised? I can’t live like this :(

Answer: Can my botched labiaplasty be fixed? Hello Genuine833772, I am very sorry about your results. You had too much labia minora removed and this cannot be corrected. Perhaps with time the tension from the procedure will relax and it will appear better. This is why a conservative approach is recommended since one can always "fine-tune" or removed a little more, but you cannot put it back.

Answer: Can botched labiaplasty be fixed? Labia minora and Majora were sutured together HI genuine, It is possible to correct this with placement of full thickness skin grafts in the area between the Labia minora and Majora. These grafts are very fragile and would require you to be enormously careful with your activities in order for them to take. You might visit with a plastic surgeon in your area who can discuss this procedure with you. Best Wishes, Dr. Christine Rodgers

Answer: Botched labiaplasty As the inventor and innovator of the wedge technique in 1994, I reconstruct many women who have had labia reductions by other surgeons, both wedge and trimming techniques. The reconstruction technique depends on the deformity. You had an aggressive trimming labiaplasty and labia majora reduction. The reconstruction is more difficult than a primary labiaplasty and should be done by a plastic surgeon with extensive experience in labia reconstruction. I published the first and most extensive paper on labia reconstruction in the prestigious journal "Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery" about ten years ago. You have some remaining clitoral hood, which I can use to reconstruct your labia minora with clitoral hood flaps, which I invented and published in that journal article. In this surgery, I take the remaining tissue of your clitoral hood and transfer it downward to create labia minora. I have done this surgery about 70 times with excellent results. Your new labia would be small and extend about half way down your vaginal opening but would be much better than your present situation. The surgery takes about 3+ hours so it is not a simple office procedure. If any surgeon reduces more of your clitoral hood, you will be ineligible for this repair. You only get one good chance to reconstruct you, so be patient and ask a lot of questions. Gary J. Answer: Labiaplasty Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. In the early stages after surgery, there can be a lot of swelling and distortion which is normal. It is best to wait for 6-9 months before considering revision. In most cases the swelling and the appearance will improve on their own. Technically, it is possible to deepen folds but if your surgery was less than 6 months ago, I would suggest to wait.

Answer: Revision labiaplasty hello, I'm very sorry to say, unfortunately there is no possibility of correction. when our patients come to us and say they want my inner lips to be completely removed. We say that we do not perform an operation in the form of a complete reset of the inner lips. In you, both labium minors are too short and outer lips are too protruding. for this reason . The pit between the minor and major lips has disappeared. and it looks like you don't have inner lips.
