Should I get a blephroplasty or endoscopic brow lift? (photos)

Your best result Woukd be with a combination of both. A temporal browlift can be
performed under local anesthesia and light oral sedation at the same time as an upper blepharoplasty. In about 2/3 of blepharoplasties I also perform a temporal brow lift. The entire brow is lifted, the shape is natural and it allows correction of hooding. The appropriate goal of the combination surgeries is to optimally correct hooding, not to loft the brow into an unnatural position.

It depends very much on what you're trying to achieve. If you're happy with the position of your brows but just want increased upper lid show then an upper lid blepharoplasty operation is a pretty reliable way of increasing upper lid show. Ideally I would recommend that you seen an oculoplastic surgeon who will examine your eyelids properly and find out why your eyelids still look hooded. It may be due to the position of your orbital septum insertion, orbital fat and your skin crease being low and if this is the case then an anchor blepharoplasty to change these factors would likely work well for you. Indeed this is more likely to be the case if you find that upper eyelid tape works for you. Sometimes my patients attend my clinic bringing eyelid tape with them. If there is a particular look that they like with the tape in, then I try to recreate that surgically.

Of course hooding may be due to brow ptosis causing upper eyelid skin hooding and if this is the case and you're unhappy with your eyebrow position then sure, redo brow lifting may be a preferred option instead.
