The skin after a laser procedure, including fractional laser, can be slightly weakened and more prone to irritation. Bio oil is not a regulated material by a federal advisory board (such as the FDA in the US) and therefore, can contain any number of ingredients of unclear strengths. I have had a couple patients use bio oils after surgery, and the oil created an inflammatory response that set back the patients healing. If any soap, oil, or lotion cools/tingles/other sensation when you put it on, it likely is irritating your skin causing this reaction. Most likely, that oil applied to the skin will not make a difference one way or the other.
Post C02 treatment - you need to wash your skin with a gentle cleanser and if you have pin point bleeding do vinegar soaks. Keep the skin hydrated with aqauphor, the more hydrated you are the less itchy you will be.
