Broke my nose playing football. Is it safe to train again 2 weeks after surgery? My nose feels too heavy

Recently broke my nose about three weeks ago 2 weeks yesterday I had surgery and had the nose reset and straightened the football club has supplied a mask which I had fitted today but would it be silly or wrong to play this forthcoming Saturday, I trained with the mask today for the first time and my nose feels too heavy is this right.

Noisy nasal breathing after rhinoplasty could be from many causes such as retained mucous, turbinate enlargement, or septal perforation. The latter tends to sound like a whistling noise.Hope this helps you.Dr. Joseph

As long as you are healthy, the weight should not be an issue.  I would search for the surgeon who you feel is most likely to give you the best results. Look at reviews and before and after pictures on that surgeon's website. Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
