Botox one month before a vampire facial is there any benefit for the patient
Answer: Botox is placed at a deeper level (muscle) than the Vampire Facial (skin and skin backbone) so PRP will not affect Botox Thank you for your question. I understand you’re planning on having Botox, followed by a Vampire Facial a month later. You’d like to know if the Vampire Facial will break down the Botox. This is a good question, and I can offer some guidance as I was one of the first to administer Botox since 1993. I’m a Board-certified cosmetic surgeon and Fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, practicing in Manhattan and Long Island for over 20 years. I’m also a member of the Vampire Facelift Network, and I've been a media resource on the Vampire Facelift and Vampire Facial.Botox is one of the most popular non-surgical cosmetic procedures. It works by blocking the signals between a nerve and a muscle, thus relaxing the muscle and lessening the appearance of frown lines and crow’s feet lines. Botox is placed at the level of the muscle. It can be injected above the muscle, but there is more benefit to injecting it into the muscle. The Vampire Facial is a variation of the Vampire Facelift. Like the Vampire Facelift, the Vampire Facial also makes use of platelet-rich plasma, but instead of injecting it under the skin, it is administered via a micro-needling device to penetrate the skin at the surface level. The idea is that if you do micro-needling at different layers of the dermis, you can stimulate a collagen response that results in skin textural quality tightening, and because it enters the epidermis, it stimulates new growth of new skin as well. Micro-needling is an effective way to improve sun-damaged skin, fine lines, and wrinkles, and improve skin quality and texture overall. Even well-known dermatologists who used to advocate dermal lasers have began to acknowledge the benefits of micro-needling.In terms of the effect of Botox, the onset of the effect usually happens within the first three days and then peaks at about two weeks. By the time you get to a month, the effect of the Botox is already working. Micro-needling should not have any negative effect on the longevity of Botox, nor should it cause any displacement or dilution of the material. In fact, I think it’s quite a good combination—relaxing muscles that cause deeper lines and improving existing lines and skin texture at the same time. Ultimately, I think it’s completely good for you to have both procedures. I don’t think anything negative will come out of the procedure, so this should work out well for you. I hope that was helpful and I wish you the best of luck!

Answer: Combination Botox and Vampire Facelift Thank you for asking the good question. There is a synergistic effect when both procedures are performed. The Botox relaxed the facial muscles which cause wrinkles and the PRP w/ Microneedling filles in the lines and tightens the skin. Have an experienced oculofacial surgeon perform comprehensive evaluation and give appropriate guidance.Good luck,

Answer: Botox and Vampire Facials We do these on the same day there is no complication from combining. If you do them separately, there is no effect on the botox. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: BOTOX and PRP facial IMO this is great idea. Get the timing right, and you will see compounded results. So, yes, one month is safe. In fact up to 48 hrs prior to PRP is safe. Botox relaxes the muscles, PRP with micro needling regenerated the collagen - giving you better skin texture and tone. Make sure you goto a reputable specialist PRP Clinic- not all PRPs are done correctly. All the bestDr Davin LimLaser DermatologistBrisbane, Australia.
