I'm bleeding after otoplasty. Is this normal? (photos)

I had otoplasty 4 days ago-my ears feel very swollen and they seem to bleed behind my ears quite a lot still...my surgeon told me to only put my headband on at night-but when I do it seems to make my ears bleed a little. I know the photo I have taken isn't very good but I can't get a good photo-but does the cartridge look normal?...I'm really worried something has gone wrong

From the photos you provided, I would say that your ear cartilage looks fairly normal for 4 days after otoplasty.  It is difficult to comment on the bleeding without knowing the quantity and without examining you.  I would recommend contacting your surgeon to get further advice.

Bleeding four days after an otoplasty is not normal. I’d recommend that you go and see your surgeon once more, as only he can determine the cause of the bleeding and do something about it.
