Hi I’m getting lip fillers next week and I’m unsure whether I will need 0.5 or 1ml. I have quite a large bottom lip in comparison to my top so was wanting the fillers to even this out. I’m also not sure whether to get any filler at all in my bottom lip because I still want them to look as natural as possible. What do you think? Thanks for your help:)

Answer: .5 ml filler? Lip augmentation with fillers
Your scar does not prevent you from getting lip filler. Fillers may even be able to soften the scar, depending upon the nature of the scar contour. Fillers may also be able to help to recreate a more natural lip border, again, depending upon the firmness of the scar and other factors.
A touch-up of filler may give improvement, but a lip lift may be your best alternative. I recommend getting a consultation with a plastic surgeon or cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results and options. Hope this helps.
It's difficult to tell from your pictures. This may be superficially placed filler, but keep in mind, it will take 1-2 weeks for final results with fillers. I would wait a full 2 weeks before assessing results. Hope this helps.
