Are Emsella and Emsculpt Neo safe with Lap-Band?

I've read that a Lap-Band has a small part made of stainless steel, but that bands are deemed MRI compatible under certain conditions. What does this mean for Emsella and Emsculpt/Emsculpt Neo (especially if Emsculpt Neo used on abs near port)? Can these treatments be performed safely on Lap-Band patients? (Band has been in place for several years in my case, so concern is not about recent surgery)

Interesting question. As the lap band is MRI compatible it shouldn’t cause a problem with using the EMsculpt or EMsculpt neo.
The port for the lap band is essentially a valve without any moving parts. I don’t see how the EMsculpt would damage the device. 
I probably wouldn’t use the EMsculpt directly over the port but as long as it’s outside of the direct treatment field I don’t see a problem.
As a provider I would also make a call to the manufacturers just to make sure there were no other concerns before proceeding.
