EmSculpt vs Liposuction to treat my saddlebags and banana rolls?

Question

I'm considering EmSculpt and/or liposuction. I want to have EmSculpt done on my bum to tight, lift and create more muscle, but curious to know if EmSculpt will help my saddlebags and banana rolls or if lipo will be required. I'm 5'7" 140 lbs, very muscular and athletic body type. Currently about 4 pounds over my usual weight.

Emsculpt contracts your muscles to build your muscle mass at a rate of about 20,000 supramaximal contractions in 30 minutes. However, in some cases, it may be necessary to liquefy unwanted remaining fat and tighten loose skin.

These objectives can be accomplished using a different system called BodyTite which uses radiofrequency energy. It is possible to combine both therapies to achieve your desired body shape. Another alternative to consider would be Evolve, which contracts muscles, liquefies fat, and also tightens loose skin. A doctor would be able to help make the best recommendation for your personal goals.

EmSculpt strictly strengthens your muscles. It will not reduce the amount of fat on your body. If you don't want to go under the knife, you could try CoolSculpting, which will eliminate your banana rolls and saddlebags non surgically.

Emsculpt is a good choice to lift and tighten the buttock area. For localized fat deposits like banana rolls, Emsculpt would not be the ideal treatment of choice. A non-invasive solution would be localized fat freezing with Coolsculpting or surgical liposuction.

If you want an assessment by posting a realself you need to post pictures. Pictures should be taken by someone else or using the timer on your camera from about 8 feet away showing your front side and back. The pictures should be taken wearing undergarments and include your body from your neck to knees.

Emsculpt only creates temporary muscle strengthening. The banana roll is Skinfold skinfold and not due to lack of muscle strength.  True saddlebags are doing to fat distribution and are well treated with liposuction. fullness on the posterior lateral aspect of the upper thigh tend to be related to skin laxity and have mild to moderate improvement from liposuction.

Personally I do not recommend Liposuction of the banana roll. It is a skin issue and it’s not treated well with liposuction.

I suggest having a few in person consultations for local board-certified plastic surgeons.
