I am considering Botox and liposuction in the same area - How long should I wait between procedures and which order works best?

Never saw this asked but should a patient get Botox before or after the lipo area if it was on the same spot? How far apart do we have to wait?

There is very little information provided in this question.  Without knowing what area you are asking about a correct answer would be difficult to provide.  I would suggest that you could have any procedure you would like 2 weeks after neuromodulator placement.

This question is really best answered by your surgeon who is most familiar with the planned procedure.  You may consider having the liposuction first and allowing the area to heal and swelling to resolve before proceeding with Botox.

I would recommend liposuction first. After liposuction, the volume of the treated area will decrease and this may change some of the dynamic rhytids (wrinkles) in the area. So, in order to get the most effective and targeted Botox treatment, I recommend lipo first with at least a 3-4 week gap to allow for optimal healing. Good luck!

So in response to you question, I would say do the liposuction first and then you would probably need to wait a minimum of 2 weeks before getting botox in the area.  If you did it the other way you may run the risk of disturbing the botox or even removing it
