It is necessary to not sit for 3 months after Brazilian butt lift?

I had a Brazilian butt lift with fat transfer, i understand not sitting for sometime. But three months seems a bit extreme to me.

Thanks for your question. Recovery from liposuction and BBL is usually 1-2 weeks. Patients may experience bruising and tenderness in the areas where liposuction was performed with very little pain on the actual buttocks. After two weeks, you can resume exercise or usual activities.

Having a high volume of Brazilian Butt Lifts, I recommend patients avoid sitting for two weeks with good results. The reason for not sitting is to optimize blood flow to the fat grafts, by two weeks the fat grafts would have already taken.

Thanks for the question and provided information as well.
Each doctor has their own protocol. It is very important that you talk to him about your concerns and goals. I recommend my patients not to sit for more than 30 mins. every two hours, for the first 2 weeks, and always with the help of a boppy pillow. If you have any concerns, I suggest you follow up close with your plastic surgeon.
