Is it common for only half of my areola to pucker when they get hard? (Photo)

bsampson
Had my 1st post-op today but forgot to ask my surgeon: Is it common for only half of my areola to pucker when they get hard? (Is it always the same half. ) What about discoloration? I've noticed the areola are a lighter color on the bottom half post-op. Is it due to nerve damage or is there another explanation? Will they go back to normal eventually? BA 10 days post, 415HP, crease, unders; great progress on healing with no complications.
