These two surgeries should not be combined.  Focus should be on ensuring that the organ transplant is successful and that you are optimized for the donation as well.  The aesthetic surgery can wait.

Dear Hazel717,it would be better to wait and see if you are a good match and get a kidney donation first. Once you are fully healed from that surgery, you can consider elective procedure such as tummy tuck and hernia repair. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. You're an amazing woman! I can honestly say this question has never come up before. I think it may be possible to combine surgeries but this would take good coordination between the transplant team and the plastic surgeon. Best to start asking them soon.
