I’m looking for the most accurate representation. I would like to do the rice test for 240cc, submuscular, Natrelle implants. I am age 41, 95lbs.
Answer: Rice test for 240cc breast implant Hello, since one millilitre (mL) and one cubic centimetre (cc) are the same volume, if you measure out 240mL of rice in a measuring cup and put it into a plastic bag, it would have a similar volume as a 240cc breast implant. There could still be a subtle volume difference since the thickness of the plastic bag won't be exactly the same as a silicone implant shell, but it should be fairly close.

Answer: Breast Implant Sizing It is really difficult to answer your question as there is a lot that goes into sizing our patients. But one cup of rice is 240 cc.We perform measurement, evaluate the skin envelope elasticity, look at photos, look at what the patient came up with the rice test, look at diagrams and finally use the Allergan/Mentor sizing system to size the patient in the office. We obviously listen and discuss exactly what the patient wants and doesn’t want so that we can deliver the expected results. Your best path to determine what size would work and how big you can be would be to seek out a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Make certain the surgeon you choose has great deal of experience in breast implant surgeries. Hope that helps.

Answer: Yes try the rice test! It works great Contrary to other doctors, the rice test is not a gimmick and it works great! I’ve used it for the last 10 years and my patients love using it to predict their size. Go ahead and put one cup of rice in a nylon stocking, tie a knot in it and cut off the extra and then place it in the size of bra that you think you want to wear. Then go up by 30cc increments if you would like. Try on different clothes and wear it around for a while. If other doctors don’t like it is because they are not using it!

Answer: Rice test You can simply measure 240 cc’s in a measuring cup. the rice test is really just a gimmick. I can tell you that 240 cc’s is a rather small size. I’m conservative and it’s a size I rarely use.
