Is it safe to go with Natrelle soft touch since it’s only been FDA approved in 2017. I know the texture surface is the main concern but I don’t want years to go by to find out this implant (gummy) has issues. What’s the safest thing to do ? Breast augmentation, breast implant, gummy bear, Natrelle, soft touch, FDA

Natrelle smooth round cohesive gel implants are wonderful, the latest generation in silicone gel implants. You are right - the textured implants are a different story and have been pulled from markets in several countries including the US. You can't go wrong with Natrelle Soft Touch! Best of luck!

Natrelle has indeed shown exemplary results in many patients. Generally, saline implants are recommended for patients who have sufficient breast tissue to make the breasts feel more natural. For patients who do not have much breast tissues and fats, gel implants like Natrelle can be used to achieve a more natural feel. This however does not apply to everyone.Some patients would prefer one over the other despite the breast type, so there really isn't telling which one would be best for you without an in person examination. Under the muscle technique could be one of the options for achieving a more natural feel and does have an advantage of lowering the risk for developing a capsular contracture.
