Is there a recall on Style 68 (350cc) Natrelle silicone implants?

The only recall I am aware of for the Natrelle Style 68 implant was in late 2019, and this was for  problem with the barcode on the packaging, such that some scanners could not read the barcode, changing how the implants could be distributed.    Style 68 is a smooth round implant  and there have been no health or safety concerns with this style of implant.

Thanks for your question! Style 68 implants are smooth-walled, saline implants. They were not part of the recall. If you are unsure whether you have saline or silicone or you're unsure about the style, please follow up with your operating surgeon. Good luck!

The Style 68 is Allergans smooth round saline implants.  There is no recall on the smooth implants of Allergan.  The recall is strictly on their textured implants (Bio-cell) of Allergan.  This is the due to the 500+ cases of ALCL that have been discovered, majority of which have been found in patients that have the Bio-Cell textured implants.Hope that helps.

Style 68 implants have a smooth surface and are not recalled.  Allergan textured surface implants have been recalled due to the incidence of BIA-ALCL.  See the attached link for all the details.
