Microneedling, fractionated lasers, and radiofrequency treatments are complimentary to neuromodulator (Botox or Dysport) and filler treatments. We often combine Sculptra and Thermage FLX treatments. Sculptra helps stimulate collagen production and by doing so corrected age related volume loss. Thermage FLX stimulate collagen production using radiofrequency energy and is a great treatment option for tightening the skin. The treatments can be done on the same day in some cases but this is based on physician and patient preference.
Hello and thank you for your question. Injectable treatments, such as Radiesse and Sculptra, and laser and/or microneedling RF treatments are great complements to each other. In my clinic we have a number of fractionated laser devices and also the Vivace RF microneedling device. Combining these treatments with injectables produces very nice results for our patients. I typically recommend waiting at least two weeks post-filler, Radiesse or Sculptra injections before receiving RF microneedling or laser treatments. Radiesse and Sculptra are injected into the deeper layers of skin and are excellent at restoring lost volume. The laser and RF microneedling treatments are affecting the more superficial layers of the skin. However, both treatments (injectables and the device procedures you mentioned) stimulate the production of collagen in your skin and will help prevent and combat the visible effects of skin aging.
