Can you do Halo laser combined with PRP?

In  my opinion, PRP has the ability to improve the healing of lasers as well as micro-needling.. The amount of additional effect by adding the PRP is still under study.Good luck.Jeff Rapaport MD FAADRealself All-star

We use PRP with Halo on a regular basis.  The micro-channels created by the Halo allow penetration of the PRP and enhance the healing and reduce the recovery time from the Halo treatment.

I do this all the time and have definitely seen an improved result and decreased downtime from using PRP or Amniotic Membrane. I like Amniotic Membrane better for this indication because for the amount of solution you can administer it has more growth factors and it also contains Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid. It is the ideal agent to promote wound healing and has an anti inflammatory effect that I think is especially important when treating patients with or at risk for Melasma.
