Jake Wardwell, DO

First, Doctor Wardwell is an incredibly skilled doctor. Highly intelligent, empathic, and insightful in his treatment approach. I usually get a bit anxious in medical offices and I was reassured immediately when I arrived. By far the most confident I haven felt under a physician's care.

I received Halo laser treatment to treat severe sun exposure/sun damage. From assessing the damage to minimizing pain during treatment, Dr Wardwell made the procedure a breeze and I'm very happy knowing I've reduced my chances of skin issues down the road through my treatment. I would definitely seek out Dr Wardwell's care in the future! A+ quality of service.

I have always suffered from pink tones due to my outdoor lifestyle and my genetic composition. Between the two treatments (BBL and Clear Silk) Dr. Wardwell administered I have noticed a tremendous improvement in my skin tone. I'm not quite ready to throw the makeup out yet but I definitely feel much more confident without makeup now. I think Dr. Wardwell is beyond competent with his guidance and encouragement of me doing these two procedures. He was absolutely the right doctor for me to go through this easy and nearly painless procedure with.

I have been seeing Dr. Wardwell for years for numerous injuries related to having an active lifestyle. I was thrilled to find out he offered cosmetic treatments because I have been battling melasma for over 5 years and it has gradually gotten worse. It started on my upper lip and then spread to my cheeks and bridge of my nose. I was especially self conscious about the melasma on my upper lip. A mustache! I tried everything and spent lots of money and nothing worked. Dr. Wardell suggested Halo and FINALLY I got real results. The melasma is now pink with brown undertones instead of dark brown and the rest of my skin looks great. No downtime really. I just looked pink and then had some light scabbing. I am going back for some spot treatments. He is a one stop shop for all your needs!

I wanted more than a doctor handing me a PT script and advice to stop running. And I got my wish when I found Dr. Wardwell.
Dr. Wardwell healed my chronic hamstring tendonitis with PRP. So I decided to go ahead with a stem cell treatment for my ankle. I have a chronic "lose" ankle from an old sports injury that for years I would always sprain if i was unlucky on a trail run. Dr. Wardwell imaged it under ultrasound (which is amazing to see in real time), 1 ruptured ligament and several other ligaments which also looked damaged.
The stem cell procedure wasn't that bad. The night of the procedure sore/painful, but do-able with pain meds. 2 weeks after I have new growth in the ligaments. I am 4 weeks into healing, limited walking with a brace. I am hopeful given the regeneration of my hamstring in the past and the new growth seen on imaging that my trick ankle will be stabilized after this treatment.
These procedures aren't for the faint of heart. They are for people who want to heal, put in the effort and be better than they were before. I am a very active person and want to remain that way.
Dr. Wardwell helps me to upgrade and I trust him completely.

Just had an amazing experience treating acne scars on my back with BBL and Halo. I have dark Indian skin, so other types of lasers had more risk of causing scars or being ineffective. The treatment area got hot after and they applied Ice to make me more comfortable. By the next day it felt completely normal and over the next week I could see the pigment rising to surface of the skin and peeling off. One week later I’m already noticing less pigment in areas where there was scarring and it is supposed to keep getting better over the next month. The experience has been so great that I’m planning to go back to do the BBL photofacial and Halo on my face to prevent aging and rejuvenate my skin. Dr. Wardwell specializes in Regenerative Medicine so he is able to add in stem cells and growth factors after the treatment to enhance the natural healing process after these procedures. At this rate, I feel like I’m only going to keep looking younger as long as I have Dr Wardwell to help rejuvenate my skin. Thanks Dr Wardwell!

I went to Dr Wardwell for 2 different sports injuries. I unfortunately cannot recommend his work. Here are my reasons. His primary work is cosmetic surgery and not really sports injuries. He will attempt without fail to try the "latest and greatest" in my case it was stem cell treatment for a tendon in my shoulder. This I was told by 2 other doctors was not the right thing for my shoulder and there was no improvement at all and it lead to surgery by another doctor. I had arthritis and it was misdiagnosed. Only to be sent a bill (after settling everything) 3 months later for the ultrasound part of it! $500.
I also did (don't ask why I went back) PRP Plasma rich ptelete therapy on my back which also had little to no improvement. Please don't let the newest greatest thing that this doctor toutes to you blind you from perhaps the fact it isn't what you need. It sounds amazing at the time but we all love medical science and it can sometimes be a distraction from the fact that it isn't the righ thing.

After consulting with several Cosmetic Surgeons I made the decision to start out with a more non invasive approach. I thought I was seeing some improvement but I think it was wishful thinking. Lots of hype and not much else.

For this procedure I would not recommend Dr. Wardwell.

As an ambassador on Real Self i often review all procedures non invasive and surgical procedures.

I had TruSculpt ID on June 18. There has not been any noticeable change in my abdomen nor flanks.

The cost was $2400. I’ve decided to schedule a lipo procedure.

I do not recommend Dr. Jake Wardwell for TruSculpt ID.

I do not recommend Dr. Jake Wardwell for TruSculpt ID. I received the treatment almost three months ago. I have given it the appropriate time for results. It was a waste of time and money. Not any form of retaliation as stated just poor results.
