Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best,Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
Clear and Brilliant is a great laser, and most definitely would help improve the overall texture and tone of your skin! I like combining this treatment with Vivace using PRP. It is micro needling with radio frequency. Best of luck!
Even minor acne scars are difficult to treat. Clear and Brilliant is underpowered in my opinion. I would suggest either Fraxel Re:Store or if possible Fraxel Re:Pair which are more aggressive laser platforms from Solta. You might also consider microneedling at 1.5 - 2.0mm depth and combine with PRP.
Clear and Brilliant may improve your minor scars over months of treatments but it would not be the laser of choice. My first choice in your case would be Sublative Radiofrequency which resurfaces and stimulates marked regeneration of healthy collagen and elastin. There is downtime similar to that with Fraxel and I sometimes use the devices together in more severe cases. Micro needling would be an additional option. All the best, Alexis Parker MD

Thanks for including the photo that suggests tiny vesicles that may be fluid filled. The photo does not look like acne, but I suggest that you follow up with the doctor or clinic that provided your care before and during the Clear and Brilliant procedure. It is important to know that the b...
This is one of the safest lasers available and post inflammatory hyper pigmentation is not an issue. If this is a concern from a previous laser experience, I recommend pretreating the skin with Vit C serum or a hydroquinone containing cream. Dr. Anna Sylwestrowicz MD...
