I'm so sorry that you have had this negaiive expeience, but, as my regular followers are well aware, I am hardly suprised by the lack of success and the outcomes of your laser & RF experiences. I have been cautioning readers for years to exercise a healthy dose of "buyer beware" when evaluating the oft inflated marketing hype and claims for this or that "bells and whistles" energy-based or light-based devices. The hard science for the success of these venues unfortunately lags well behind the marketing hype. So once gain, very sorry. In general, subcision, for elevating and smoothing boxcar/rolling scars and which I have been performing since 1995, typically offers overall improvements in the range of 60-80% and would seem appropriate for the elevating the indented, whitish scars that trouble you. Subcision is relatively inexpensive, and, unlike the laser treatment, engenders little to no significant downtime. Once the depressed white scars have been elevated, miicroneedling, professionally performed, combined with application of prescription pigment promoting medications, such as topical tyrosine and lanatorprost, can then be performed, if so desired, as a final "polishing" step for blending better the whitish scars in both color and texture with the surrounding normal skin. Be sure to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologisst, and best of luck going forward.
