When I was 5, I was (accidentally) scratched on the face by my sister. I am 23 now, and the scar is still here (it wouldn’t be if it wasn’t a ‘scar’). TBF, it is a mild one, and even when I was scratched there was no ‘blood’ or anything, in fact I am under no doubt that if was scratched in the same place now, with the same velocity, it would not leave a permanent mark, but a 5 year old’s skin is much less robust. In short, how effective would laser surgery be in my case?

If the scar is recent, that is great news. Some lasers will help temporarily, look into Morpheus8 or other micro-needeling technique with radio-frequency. I am seeing great results with Morpheus8 and scars. Hope this helps.
