I had an open rhinoplasty 13 days ago. Everything is as expected so far, lots of swelling, pointed tip. I’ve been reading online stories of others’ nose jobs, and some are terrifying. For example, collapsed nostrils, infection (one guy had his whole nose removed after a material ate away his skin?), skin necrosis, bumps years later, super pinched nose tip, bones protruding. Why does this happen, & how often? I went to a board certified surgeon with 20 years experience..I’m in good hands right?
