It really depends on your concern, and what the injector charges. IN Toronto, you can expect to pay about $10-$15/unit, and the number of units depends on your concern.
The cost of botox will vary widely from region to region and even within the same geographic location. More important than cost, you should consider the experience of the injector and look for a plastic surgeon or dermatologist who actually does their own injections. That way you ensure the best possible results. In addition to the experience and credentials of the injector, the areas treated or the amount of botox used will affect the price. Once you have decided on one or two places to have the injections done, you should contact them to get more accurate pricing information.
Thank you for your question.Pricing of Botox can vary from location to location. It is normally priced out in units, which then will depend on how much Botox you will receive to achieve your desired results. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for acomplete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe foryou to have treatment.I hope this helps.
Harry Marshak, M.D, F.A.C.SBotox prices vary at different offices. You may consider making a consultation appointment to find out pricing for injections.Botox $10 Per UnitExample: 30 Units = $300
BOTOX prices vary...you should call the office and ask before your appointment so you are aware of the fees prior to seeing the physician. If you are just going for a consult, you can find out costs at that time.
Botox pricing varies depending on the physician expertise and location. Physicians in urban areas tend to charge more. Also, physicians with extensive expertise and significant demand tend to charge more. At our practice, we charge by the treated areas rather than the amount of Botox used. This ensures that appropriate amount is delivered to the area rather than chasing a “number” of Botox units. -Dr. Keaney
The cost of Botox treatment is not simple to answer. It depends on which areas are being treated, how strong the muscles & deep the wrinkles are, male vs. female, and who is doing your injecting. The most important factor is having an experienced and highly trained physician injector such as a dermatologist do your treatment to optimize safety and efficacy; we are talking about your face after all.
I would like to second Dr. Haberman's admonition to be judicious about who injects your Botox. Cut rate injectors are that for a reason -- I've seen Botox bought on the cheap injected into places on the face where it does not belong, with results the patient does not like (but still lasts for 4 months), and rarely with complications including temporary upper lip paralysis, asymmetry of the smile, a droopy eyelid, etc. With Botox, like with all things, let the buyer beware.Do your diligence. With sites like RealSelf it should not be difficult to find a reputable practitioner to inject your Botox.Best wishes! Harry V. Wright MD
Definitely the cost is related to how many areas you want treated but also there may be a consultation fee in addition. When I see a patient for the first time i put the consultation fee towards the treatment cost so the consultation ends up being essentially "free". You may want to double check before your appointment so there will be no surprises. Good luck.
Many Physicians charge by the number of units. Typically, 20 to 25 units is required for the forehead, 16 to 20 units for the crows feet by the eyes, and 16 units for the "Eleven" linesBeware of bargains because not all physicians inject the same way. Doctors of all specialties are doing BOTOX including dentists, emergency physicians, family doctors, gynecologists, and neurologists. The fees in Northern New Jersey and New York run between $15-20 per unit.I wish you luck and hope that I have given you some valuable information
The effects of botox will vary from patient to patient. Usually the full effect is realized by 2 weeks and then there is a gradual recovery of the muscle action. On average this takes about 3 months. The muscle recovery is very natural over time. I find that patients will frequently have an ...
Lines that are caused primarily by muscles of facial expressions can be very effectively erased with Botox Cosmetic®, Xeomin® or Dysport®. Consult a board certified aesthetic dermatologist for a consultation.
Thank you for posting your question and photo. Rarely someone can develop antibodies to the neuro-modulators but this is usually after many treatments. Since you had little to no results after a few injections, it is more likely the lack of effect is due to poor technique...
