Is a tighter bra better to help control swelling after breast reduction? (photos)

I am 29 days post op from breast reduction and continue to have considerable swelling along with t-junction issues. I have various size sports bras I have purchased for recovery. First week of surgery tighter option was painful. Now that pain is minimal, I am wondering if it's better to have a bit more compression with a tighter bra rather than loose?

A size 36G on a patient of your size is not that big in grams and 500 grams would probably be the majority of your breast. If your were 5'6" and weighed 190# then 500 gm would be a much smaller percentage of the overall breast. But grams to be removed is only an educated guess before the...

The amount of follow up appointments will vary from surgeon to surgeon and the type of surgery preformed and how the patient is helping. Hard to say for sure.

It is difficult to predict what bra size you would be after a reduction in volume because all bras are not the same.
