Although I do not recommend going to a "cheap doctor" for any surgical procedure, buttock implants is one that I especially would avoid a cheap doctor for. I not infrequently see patients that went the cheap route and got a disasterous result. I am faced with a more challenging and much more expensive revision operation to get them fixed back up. Bottom line, going the cheap route often becomes twice as expensive in the long run.
Dear Staymobbin, I do not know any board certified plastic surgeon who will do the procedure for that price. You have to realize though, that the initial cost is not always the final cost, because if you have to have corrective surgery, the cost can escalate significantly. I have recently operated on a patient , who had butt implant surgery twice before by 2 different surgeons. So far she is very happy with my surgery, however, you can imagine the cumulative cost of these surgeries... Not all butt implants surgery results are same, because there are different techniques and different implants - shape , softness and quality. Additionally, experience, skills and aesthetic eye are critical for good and safe outcome. So , do your due diligence carefully and choose wisely. Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive.
