I am super self conscious about my smile. I am going into orthodontic treatment to fix gaps in my teeth and I want to finish the job by treating my upper lip as necessary. In past photos (probably from when I was only 6 or 7 years old) I have a normal smile so something odd happened to my lip over time. When I was younger, I remember I used to suck on my maxillary frenum between a small gap in my top two teeth. Is this a cause? Is there any treatment I can undergo? Any advice would be great.
