Hello . I had a septoplasty (29th November) to correct a deviated septum and have 2 splints removed in a few days (7 dyas after surgery). My question/concern: My nose is still sore and swollen and very tender to touch. Is ths 'normal' after 5 days of recovery? Thank you, in advance.

Too early of septal perforation surgery will often result in failure to close as the mucosa takes time to recover from surgery. Most of the time it is on a case by case basis from mucosal observation and may be around 6 months after septoplasty.
