Can thread veins develop on the chest of a 40 year old man?

I recently noticed small pinkish patch of thread veins on my chest. I'm 40 years old and was wondering if this is common for a male and is it going to continue to worsen over time?

Veins can develop on the chest of men due to normal causes such as genetic, aging, trauma and sun exposure.
