Hello,Thank you for your question and picture. While its understandable that you want a dramatic change, based on your last reaction, it may be a good idea to gain this change slowly. You may want to look into Volbella, it is a much softer filler that gives a slight plump and adds a beautiful shine to the lips because of hydration. It is best to visit a local physician to have an in person consultation with a doctor about the best course of action.Good luck

Thank you for sharing your question and photograph and I am sorry that your lip results were not what you anticipated.  I would advocate discussing your dissatisfaction with your surgeon to assess ways to avoid lip protrusion.  Much will depend on the injection pattern used.  Because of the sensitivity of the lip tissues I would advocate for slow incremental addition of any hyaluronic acid filler to maintain a natural appearance.  Hope this helps.

These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. PDO Nova threads can also be used to improve shape and provide lift. Fat or implants are an alternative. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Thank you for your question. We all come in different shapes and sizes, which means we all need to be treated differently. Luckily, there are a number of fillers to choose from and one may work better for you then the next. From your photo, its difficult to tell how much protrusion you have, but certainly a thinner product could be used instead of Juvederm Ultra. Look for a board certified plastic surgeon that can tell you if you are a better candidate for products such as Restylane Silk or Volbella. I would recommend sticking to the hyaluronic products. They may not give you as much volume but will give you a more natural look. Good luck!

I would definitely have the product dissolved with Hyaluronidase. The lips appear too large for your face and asymmetric.  Please consult an expert in lip fillers for the best cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Green

Thank you for your question.  I'm sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the results of your prior lip filler injections and needed to have your filler dissolved.  I don't think this experience should prevent you from considering lip fillers in the future.The end result of lip filler injections depends on a variety of factors, including injection placement and technique; the specific filler used and volume injected; and the injector's experience, expertise, and aesthetic.  Some of the newer filler products, like Juvederm Volbella and Vollure, can be used to add more subtle and natural volume to the lips without creating as much projection.  I would recommend scheduling a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist to discuss your concerns.  Best of luck!
