Is it safe to go to a party 3 months after rhinoplasty?

Is it safe to go to a party 3 months post op? I had the bones broken, hump removed and tip refined using dissolvable sutures. I'm worried about small bumps to the nose, especially the tip area. How stable is the tip at this point? Can I safely hug people without worrying about getting a small bump to the nose? How much can the tip withstand compared to when fully healed?

Three months after a rhinoplasty you have very low risk of damaging your nose with regular activity. Be cautious with any sort of contact sports but otherwise you should be able to engage in any sort of activity. Enjoy your party.

Hello, and thanks for your question. Generally speaking, unless you have had an unusual complication or post op problem, your nose should be well healed at this point. Going to a party and engaging in normal physical activity should be fine.

You  should not have any concerns regarding attending a  social gathering at this time. The nose  heals very well and there should not be any  issue with hugging people.  Obviously, events which  could significantly put  you at risk for  physical trauma should be avoided. Your end point of healing  easily takes 6-12 months.
