Can post-rhinoplasty bruises leave permanent staining? (Photo)

I am 7 weeks post-op (open septo-rhino). I still have dark blue marks under the eyes and upper cheeks. Is this hemosiderin? Will it ever go away? They appear brown on the picture but they are of a very dark blue. Thank you!

Hi @erryhospel! I recommend that my patients resume exercise 3 weeks post op. My biggest advice is to listen to your body. If you notice increased swelling after yoga or any physical activity, I would avoid those exercises and ease your way into your routine. Best of luck!

Hi @Pita Lynn! Considering you are only 1 month post op, you are very early in the recovery process and you are still swollen. Swelling can last up to 1 year post op. Best of luck to you!

Hello thank you for your question and provided information as well.. based in your question with diclofenac you can bleeding during the surgery  , its recommended suspend 2 weeks before surgery.
