Implants not dropping after 6 weeks (Photo)

At 6 weeks you are about 35 percent settled, shaped, softened, dropped and fluffed. "Drop and fluff" refers to the fact that as the skin stretches and the muscles relax, the implants move down and out slowly – about 1 percent a day. It’ll be about six weeks before they even begin to settle down, but they’ll be close to 80 percent settled and softened at three months. Watching their progress is like watching your hair grow. You don’t see a difference in your hair growth daily, but all of a sudden you need a haircut. 
Be patient after surgery. Give yourself a few months before making a judgment about your surgical results. You won't know the outcome until then. When concerned, always a good idea to consult with your surgeon.

You should be massaging the implants downward and maybe using a bandeau that would gently push them down.  If this does not improve their position, you may be a candidate for a pocket revision.

You could consider performing massage of the lower pole of your breasts (which is a little counter-intuitive, since most patients think they should be massaging the top part of the breasts) to help soften this tissue to allow the breast implants to fall into that space a little easier; superior banding (gently) is also an option. Ideally. you should see your surgeon in person, as she/he will be able to tell based on how high your implants were immediately post-op if this is in the spectrum of normal for your post-op course, and then advise you specifically.
