Four years ago my face looked different to me. I don’t think I lost that much babyfat though so maybe the changes are due to the effects just growing up and testosterone. I’m 25 now and when I look at pictures of myself when I was 21 I looked much younger. Would a facial fat graft make much of a difference or would I need other things done to make me look younger?
Answer: Facial fat grafting and aging Thanks for writing,As we age many things happen to or face, not only loss of fat. Fat grafting can replace volume and help improve volume and shape. Photos are two dimensional while an in person evaluation is three dimensional and this is important. I would recommend finding a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area who does this work, you want someone who does a lot of this and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, be careful there are many Boards that sound alike and it can be confusing. In todays environment, everybody wants to be a plastic surgeon but few have the training. Good luckStephen M. Answer: Start living life stop looking in the mirror stop shooting testosterone. Don't get facial fat transfer. It's a perfect recipe for taking a normal appearing young man and making him look like he had plastic surgery. Just don't do it. Just say no Ask your friends to the gym if you should add fat injected to your face. Tell tell you the truth. Don't look for the truth on real self. This is a forum based on the cosmetic surgery industry. Why are you shooting testosterone? If you were 60 years old I could see the desire. For each their own. I hope you don't compete in sports. You don't need fat injected in your face. If you look normal to start with and start adding volume then what will you look like? If you're a man at the age of 25 worried about looking old and then there are more things to worry about than having fat injected in your face. Sorry for my cynicism. Just don't do it.
