Difference between laser and scalpel rhinoplasty? What is better?

Dear, Doctor tell me please what is the difference between laser rhinoplastic and standart old-style scalpel surgeon rhinoplastic? What is better? What if the doctor says he's gonna operate only with laser?

A laser is simply a cutting tool like a knife or a scissor. The laser will not cut bone or cartilage. There is no reason to place a laser in the nose to perform a rhinoplasty. Traditional rhinoplasty techniques are performed with a knife, scissors and an osteotome.

Laser is an excellent tool for making changes in the skin and for operating on patients with bleeding problems or for whom blood loss is a concern.
