Answer: One breast dropping faster It is not uncommon for one implant to "drop" faster than the other, particularly in the first few weeks post-op. It appears that your inframammary crease is higher on the right side than the left and that your left nipple/arreola is slightly lower than the right. Most likely these slight asymmetries were present pre-operatively. You should be aggressively initiating maneuvers to help lower the right implant.-continue wearing the bando strap-go braless in the upright position at least a few hours a day and increase those hours each week-start general daily massage exercises of your implants and specifically massage your right implant in a downward direction a few times a day. If you do all these things I would expect your right implant to drop and catch up with the left implant over the next several weeks. Good luck. Dr. T

Answer: Implants dropping at different rates You are very early in your recovery and can expect many changes ahead. It is common for one implant to heal and drop faster than the other. I know it is hard to be patient, but more time is needed. Continue to closely follow your surgeon's instructions and communicate any new concerns.

Answer: Why is one breast dropping faster than the other? 2 weeks post op you are still early in the healing process. Your breasts will continue to change and settle with time. Typically it takes 3 months for swelling to subside and the implants to settle. It is not uncommon for breasts to heal and drop at different rates.

Answer: Need more time 2 weeks is still very early to judge the final result. Wait until at least 3 months after surgery. Breast implants "settle" at different rates. Additionally, swelling may subside at a different rate for each breast.Congratulations on your recent surgery!- Dr. Bryson G. Richards, MD

Answer: Breast shape Your own three weeks from surgery date. Please allow an additional two months for the tissues used to relax. Time should even out your breast shape.
