3 weeks post op, I got hit in the boob and in pain. What can it be?

If the implants appear symmetric, and not bruised, it is not likely that any has happened that will compromise your result.  However, it seems a bit inappropriate to offer reassurance without photos or an exam, and therefor I would recommend a call to your surgeon.  Based on some give and take over the phone, he or she can decide if you should be seen in the office. Best wishes.

Angelica89,Pain is probably not a sign of a problem if it is not linked to new swelling or bruising in an instance like this. Address this question to your surgeon, as they may wish to see you, but if you have not seen the other problem signs noted above, it is probably not urgent.  Your surgeon may tell you to treat this symptomatically by avoiding strain on the injured side, and using over the counter pain meds.  Let the surgeon know if you are concerned, or if persists.  I hope that this helps.     Best wishes,     Tom DeWire, MD, FACSRichmond, VA
