The goals of a nose surgery are individualized according to the characteristics of each patient. When reshaping the nasal structures, several changes can be made, among which the following stand out: Straightening the nose, correcting bumps on the bridge of the nose, reducing the length of the facial tip, reducing the size of the nose and correcting breathing problems. As a board certified plastic surgeon, I hear concerns like yours quite often. As we age, the loose skin and gravitational descent of fat and soft tissue all change the way our face appears. Just based on the photos – and of course would need to discuss things in depth to make sure that my suggestions are aligned with your aesthetic wishes – I see four areas that could be improved: the profile of your nose, which is over projected; your chin, which is underprojected; the excess tissue of your neck, which could be resuspended to give you a beautiful, sharp jawline; and the marionette lines + deep nasal labial folds that could benefit from a lower facelift done in conjunction with the neck lift. However, you are only an appropriate candidate if these features also bother you! It would behoove you to meet in person with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns specifically and see which procedures would be right for you.
