Can i do rhinoplasty and lip lift and chin implant and facial fat transfer (forehead , nasolabial floods, under eye “not sure” ) all at the same time? bc I’m planning to do them abroad soon. and if not how much time do i have to wait between the surgeries and the facial fat transfer? Thank you!
Answer: Performing multiple facial procedures at the same setting: Performing multiple facial procedures at the same setting: Multiple facial procedures such as you mention are often performed in one sitting. The technical hurdles are to perform them in the correct order and use the correct type of anesthesia for each. For example the chin implant is often done with local anesthesia and the patient awake so they may close their jaw and show what the implant looks like. The rhinoplasty however is often done with the patient fully asleep and a tube in the mouth with the jaw open. Therefore the chin implant would have to be done first and then the patient put to sleep for the Rhinoplasty if the rhinoplasty is being performed asleep. another consideration is that the chin implant is a sterile procedure while the rhinoplasty involves all the germs inside the nose. For this reason the chin implant should be performed first and the wound fully closed before contaminating the instruments and the field with the nasal flora . The fat transfer should not affect the appearance of the nose and the cast on the nose should be put in such a way that it does not affect the fat transfer. So it is technical considerations such as these that must be weighed by the surgeon. But the amount of surgery you are discussing is really not that much and can theoretically will be performed in one sitting.

Answer: Rhinoplasty and lip lift Thank you for your question. The main conflict is between the rhinoplasty and lip lift if the rhinoplasty is carried out through the open tip approach. This is because the segment of skin between the incision on the columella and the incision at the base of the columella for the lip lift can lose blood flow and necrose. A closed rhinoplasty intervention combined with lip lift may be an option. The other option is to use for the open tip rhinoplasty procedure the same access as the upper lip lift (incision only at the base of the columella. The best plan however is to separate the rhinoplasty and upper lip lift. There is no conflict between chin implant and rhinoplasty or fat transfer to the face and rhinoplasty.

Answer: Combination of procedures Dear Nice294298, I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others. Answer: Multiple Surgery Hello and thanks for your question. Rhinoplasty, lip lift, chin implant and facial fat graft can be performed in the same time. The most important thing in this case is the patient's expectation and situation. The very final details can be provided after the consultation.
