10 weeks post op. Silicon 415cc under the muscle. Curious if this drastic of a difference is normal at this point. The right breast is significantly lower and off to the side versus the left. I’ve messaged my doctor, but wanted to ask here as well.
Answer: BA results Dear Nicki26376,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Asymmetry breasts This is due to the differing position of the two implants: the right implant seems to be lower and to the side. This may need repositioning. However, the right breast to me looks like a more natural result, which leads me to believe this could be an early sign of capsular contracture on the left breast.

Answer: Breast asymmetry after breast augmentation Hi and welcome to our forum! Congratulations on your recent surgery. The photo you provided appears to demonstrate a degree of asymmetry. However, the process of breast healing after augmentation involves remodeling of the soft tissues as the "drop and fluff" phenomenon occurs. One breast may fall into position faster than the other. I recommend that you continue followup with your surgeon, allowing more time to heal (usually 3-6 months). If required, a minor revision will correct the problem. 15% of cosmetic procedures require a secondary touch up. Best wishes...

Answer: Problematic asymmetry You do have a problem there. This is either an early capsular contracture on an implant position problem. Please see your plastic surgeon and revision surgery is likely to be needed.
