I would like to downsize my implants I feel they are heavy on my 5'1" frame. I have 605cc and would like to go to around 450-500 range. Would the sag be significant ? I have extr high profile over the muscle
Answer: Downsizing I would recommend removing the implants and allowing your tissues to rebound/recoil after having such stress under the excessively large implants for your frame. After 3 months, we would re-evaluate the tissues and see how much tissue excess there truly is. At this time, we could potentially then proceed with placement of new smaller implants under the muscle with or without a breast lift depending on the measurements that are taken after your tissues have recovered. This is a complex problem that was created from placing incredibly large implants. I hope that you can find the correct surgeon to help I would recommend seeing a board-certified or board-eligible plastic surgeon with aesthetic surgery training and experience to tackle this type of problem in a safe and efficient manner. Best of luck!

Answer: Implants You are sagging now, but I would definitely go smaller. These are way to large and heavy for your frame and tissue and will just sag more.

Answer: Explant with Bellesoma Method At this time, your breasts are sagging significantly and the nipple-areola complex is pointing outward. I recommend explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Independent37704, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.
